USCIS Approval I171H

It has arrived! Our 2nd approval from the USCIS arrived Saturday, July 30 after being in the system since June 13th. Now for sure we will be ready when Honduras calls us for our 2nd trip. April seems so long ago.

ADOPTION TIMELINE

8/29/11 - 10/7/11 Tegucigalpa (40 days)

8/16/11 Received word to pack our bags for the 2nd time!

7/30/11 Approval of our I-171 for the 2nd time.

6/23/11 Bob is fingerprinted early

6/15/11 Sally is fingerprinted early (Appt. was June 27th)

6/13/11 In the USCIS system (fingerprints)

6/10/11 Mailed our 2nd I600A application for failure to ask for an extension on our 1st one.

6/6/11 Home Study Update

4/15/11- 8/29/11 Waiting for our 2nd trip

4/9/11 - 4/15/11First Trip to Honduras.

2/18/11 - Referral for a healthy 4 1/2 yr old boy.

12/6/10 - Psychological Evaluation resubmitted to IHNFA by our representative in Honduras.

10/8/10 - IHNFA said that our psychological evaluations needed to elaborate more on the

recommendation and the results of our tests.

8/20/10 - Dossier Submitted to IHNFA by our Rep in Honduras for boy or girl 0-4 yrs old, open to special needs child.

2/2010 Dossier submitted to Buckner

July 2009 HONDURAS OPENS!!!

6/4/09 - Finalizing home study

Spring 2009 - Started Adoption process (required adoption education classes and initial paperwork)
